Manchester United are close to the of signing a new left-back to replace Luke Shaw, who is going to be injured for a couple of weeks, and potentially for months. Luke Shaw will miss out about three first games of the season 2024/2025 due to a strain so this is why United are considering multiple options.

They have three or four names on their list, one of which is Marc Cucurella from Chelsea.

There is a possibility that Cucurella could leave Chelsea despite Marc Cucurella signed a 6-year contact with the club. Manchester United have asked about potential conditions for the deal. " It remains to be seen if they will follow up with a bid, but Cucurella is one of the names they are considering." said Fabrizio Romano.

Meanwhile, Sofyan Amrabat is not training with Fiorentina.
