Headlines: Jadon Sancho and Nkunku get a great performance
Jadon Sancho and Nkunku shine as Chelsea grab themselves a late goal winner against Bournemouth at the vitality stadium yesterday in a game of a record breaking 14 yellow cards in a single game.

Of course Bournemouth had the upper hand in the first half of the game but the lost a great opportunity to lead the game in the 38th minute after Bournemouth was awarded a penalty and they were denied by Chelsea goal keeper Robert Sanchez. Jadon was substituted in at the start of the second half and later on provided the assist to Christopher Nkunku which he put at the back of the net, scoring the late winner in the 86th minute of the game.
Despite 14 yellow cards issued by referee Anthony Taylor during the game, Chelsea clearly dominated the second half of the game and finished the match with 67% ball possession and won to get three points.

Jadon Sancho showed a great performance by providing an assist on his debut for the blues. This brings hope to the Chelsea fans who were doubting 24 year old and this also gives Sancho a fresh start as a player of the blues.

Chelsea now move to the 7th place on the premier league table; that is 5 points behind the table leaders Manchester City. Chelsea are set to travel to the London stadium to face Westham in premier league next fixture on Saturday 21st September 2024
